The next reunion meeting is scheduled for Thursday Sep 21st, 6:00 PM at Charlie’s BBQ in Odenville.
August 17, 2023 we had our first meeting at Charlie’s BBQ in Odenville. Those present were Nelda (Montgomery) Taylor, Kevin Dixon and his June, Sheryl (Hawkins) Mize and her husband Robert. Larry Hardeman, Jan (Jackson) Morris, Pam (Crow) Smith, and Roberta (Robbie Paschal) Williams and her husband Thomas.
Discussion items were primarily concerning possible venues local to the area and going thru many of our classmates and trying to figure out where they are today. There was also a discussion as we were closing about what month we would like to have the reunion and the general consensus seems to be March/April timeline and no later than late April. Much of this will depend on the venue selected and the availability.
I would like to iterate, that any classmate is welcome to join in on these meetings and participate in the planning of the reunion. There will be many items that will need to be discussed in the upcoming months as we press ever so closer to that magical 50-year mark.
